Our Story

Technology should work for people — not the other way around. Too many people in our community have devices sitting in boxes, Wi-Fi that doesn't reach half the house, or computers running so slow they've given up using them. And the options for help are either expensive, slow, or both.

Our mission is simple: bring real, honest, in-person tech help directly to people in the Capital Region — at a price that makes sense, from people they can actually trust.

Honestly? We were broke students trying to find a real path forward. Connor and Kamryn both knew they wanted to build something — not just work a job. The first idea was a local event crew. That didn't pan out. But technology felt right. It was something we both understood, something people around us clearly needed help with, and something we could actually start with very little.

We built Tekpair with what we had left from work. We spent hours studying ads, figuring out what to post, doing outreach, putting up flyers across Cohoes and the Capital Region. No investors. No funding. Just two people grinding to make something out of nothing.

This is the result — our company. We're incredibly proud of what we've built and genuinely happy to serve our neighbors at a price that actually makes sense. Because let's be honest: nobody should have to pay $100+ just to get a security camera set up.

We started by hitting the streets in Cohoes — putting up flyers, knocking on community boards, showing up. This is a local business built for local people, and we're treating it that way from day one.
